Description of Mario Kart Super Circuit GBA
Overall, the gameplay of Mario Kart: Super Circuit is not much different from its previous versions. In each race, players will try to run 3-5 laps as well as maintain their car speed to reach the finish line first. The maps in the game are really diverse with quite a few obstacles. So, if you want to win the championship trophy, you must control the car skillfully and manage the movements to avoid being thrown off the track. In addition, it also contains many special items that give the player an advantage on the track, such as the ability to accelerate for a short time or some items that are detrimental to other opponents.
Mario Kart: Super Circuit features eight familiar characters from Nintendo’s Mario series: Mario, Luigi, Toad, Princess Peach, Wario, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, and Bowser. And usually all 8 will participate in a single race mode where the player can choose anyone to role-play. But there is a big difference here. Characters in the game are designed with 3 classes by weight: heavy, light and medium. They also have separate “acceleration” stats. Therefore, these two clues will make up their distinct abilities in races. Obviously,
light characters like Yoshi, Toad, Peach Princess will have the ability to accelerate faster, but their weakness is that it is very easy to be defeated when colliding with heavier opponents.
