This game was developed by Asmik Ace Entertainment and AKI Corporation, and published by THQ for these Japanese Nintendo 64 devices. This release also marks the end of “WCW Vs. Other popular versions, the game supports single-player and multiplayer modes.

WWF No Mercy was recreated after the annual No Mercy event organized by the World Wrestling Federation. Surely many people will think that a game revolving around tough, sweaty wrestling matches in the ring like this will usually have no plot, but the truth is quite surprising. The name WWF No Mercy has seven levels corresponding to each separate tournament. The number of characters in the game will probably surprise many people when it reaches 60.
