Have you heard of the bullet hell video game franchise Touhou Project? Which one has happened since the 1990s? People with great music?

There are many characters, with several factions of people, spirits, ghosts, youkai and gods… “What if we replaced pokemon in the game with Touhou characters?” someone thought one day. and then BOOM! Touhoumon was created.

For a long time, he was stuck in Gen III. But, thanks to Tye and the others, the game quickly moved into new territory:

Touhoumon Heartgold retains the original story of the game, but you’ll soon notice many aspects of it have changed. And if you’ve played the Gen III Touhoumon romhacks, you’ll find this a lot of fun, too.

Modified figures and puppets:

Not a Pokemon creature in sight… All Pokemon have been replaced with puppets modeled around the Touhou Project characters. Shines have been added and some old sprites from previous generations have been reworked and improved. The best part is that characters up to Touhou 18 are available! Most of these puppets will only have two stages of evolution, but many will have multiple options and will be evolved based on the pieces (stones) used on them. Some are supports, some are attackers, some are tanks… So play around and see which puppet you like best!

New warning:

There are no longer 17 types of standards accessible in Generation IV. Are there Fire, Water and… Earth standards? Raison? Monster!? Fight your way through new and unusual attacks, discovering how to outsmart your opponents. Don’t worry, the gym leaders have also been changed to reflect this (charts of types are included in the file). Talk about what…

New movement:

HM moves can now be deleted and TM moves are unlimited.

Not only can you have endless TMS, you can now max out your stats with vitamins, console compatible games, much faster HP meters and EVs now capped
