Description of Sonic Advance 3 GBA
After a failed attempt to destroy the world, Doctor Eggman had everything stolen by Sonic and his gang, including the destroyer Emerl. Fortunately, he managed to escape, and his hatred seemed even heavier than before. With this return, he brings with him another cyborg named Gemerl, an upgraded version of Emerl, enhanced in technology and power. Sonic and his friends are his first target because deep down he understands it. If they exist, the plan cannot succeed. Amy, Knuckles and Cream have been kidnapped,
which means that Doctor Eggman has officially issued a challenge to Sonic. But, with Sonic and Tail’s current strength, it would be difficult to defeat Eggman and Gemerl. Looks like they need to borrow the power of the hidden emeralds in the 7 dungeons they’ll face next.
Sonic Advance 3 featured 5 characters, but initially only Sonic and Tail were playable. Sonic can perform non-generic slashes, runs very fast and can speed up his teammates. Meanwhile, Tail has a magical tail, allowing him and his teammates to fly through the air in an instant. Then, when passing through some maps like Sunset Hill and Ocean Base to rescue their friends, Amy, Knuckles and Cream will accompany the player for the rest of the way. Of course, they also have special skills that players need to know, such as… Amy has Piko Hammer, which can both destroy enemies and lift her body into the air (when combined with Sonic) . Knuckles with overwhelming power, can take down all enemies and destroy obstacles that other characters cannot. Finally, Cream, a little girl who can use Chao to create a massive attack, also has the ability to fly through the air like Tail.
Compared to the previous two versions of the series, the gameplay of Sonic Advance 3 seems to have changed when allowing players to choose another character to support combat. There are 7 dungeons to explore, corresponding to 7 bosses and 7 emeralds to collect. At each dungeon completion, the player will have to face bosses to get emeralds and proceed to the next level. Finally, when the script is complete, Doctor Eggman and Gemerl will appear. Characters can evolve into Super versions through the power of these emeralds to enhance their combat abilities. However, the levels of a dungeon are also quite difficult, as players are forced to collect rings that appear along the way and fight against harmful obstacles.
If the player has exceeded his life points, he will have to start the level again and collect the rings. Maybe it will be a bit boring because you have to repeat the same scene continuously. Therefore, try to collect support items like Chaos Emerald, Chaos Creatures for stronger combat, and Heart Icons for more lives. Moreover, Sonic Advance 3 also supports multiplayer mode.
