Description of Pokemon Kanto Redux Rom
Welcome to Pokemon Kanto Redux, a mini HeartGold romhack that aims to create a new, fun and balanced experience in the Kanto region. Almost any TM can be found and used, and all trainers have new Pokemon Level AI and Gym Leader sets for added challenge.
You start in Lavender Town, and Kanto is a team with 4 generations of Pokemon throughout
area. This hack is meant to balance around a heavy Nuzlocke (first encounterable only in each zone, excluding gift encounters, no battle items, no upgrades) after the next boss gym and drop the Pokémon if it faints), so here I will provide spoiler-free information for future Nuzlocker.
Included with this document is a complete list of encounters for each region, so players can plan encounters more easily.
Version 1.3 is intended to be the final release and I won’t make any improvements unless major bugs appear. If you have any questions not listed below, feel free to contact me via discord (Alex #9726).
