Thousands of years ago, a conflict called the “Magic War” took place. The three “Warring Triad” entities have captured humans and turned them into favorable ghostly creatures known as Espers to enslave and serve in their wars. Then they realized that the cruelty was inflicted on humans, so the wars were stopped. At the same time, they sealed themselves within the rocks and bestowed the Esper creatures with magical powers. Thousands of years later, when Emperor
Gestahl appeared and brought his army with him in an attempt to rule the world, he found three stone statues and harnessed the powers of the Espers in an attempt to create a weapon. Perfect, a combination of technology and magic. But one thing he didn’t expect was his general Kefka. Kefka killed him and took over the entire empire. He wants to merge the power of the three statues in his body to destroy the world, with the power of a god. Fortunately, at a time when the world is in danger, an army called The Returners appear and they swear to oppose Kefka’s sinister plot.
FINAL FANTASY 6 ADVANCE features 14+ unlocked characters to explore. At the start of the game, the player chooses and forms a team to begin exploring the sequels of the story. Of course, the difficulty is still there and tends to increase. Monsters appear randomly and attack the player. With the special skills of the party members, players can take advantage to defeat the enemy to continue the journey. By defeating monsters, the character will receive experience points to level up. As they reach higher levels, their stats improve, even unlocking more powerful skills.
This game is a real role-playing game where each character not only has a level system, special skills, stats but also can equip external items such as armor or weapons . It improves the character’s combat ability, increasing the attack stats by a percentage or increasing some attribute points, depending on the qualities the player has previously upgraded. Regarding the skill system, most of the characters have original special abilities, such as Ninja with the ability to throw weapons to attack enemies from afar, Monk with fighting abilities like Street Fighter-esque, Sabin can create Blitz attacks with magic, Edgar with high damage weapons like saws and drills, etc.
Perhaps the plot of this game is rated as excellent, as well as interesting details. in the quest to unlock new events and scenarios, but another part is due to the Kefka objects the developer has built. He is known to be the most accomplished villain, with his greed and crazy ideas. Some player comments link Kefka to The Joker, a villain in the DC Batman movies. Perhaps the most impressive point is the barbaric laughter, which is emitted by the sound system in a very realistic way.
