Description of F ZERO X Nintendo 64 ROM
F-ZERO X is a name famous for the racing car genre. This version is manufactured for Nintendo 64 devices by the EAD division. This game is the successor of 1990’s F-Zero, published by Nintendo. F-Zero X is also the first version of the F-Zero series to feature 3D graphics, opening the way for later games.
As a racing game, F-Zero X has no specific storyline. But in general, the game is mostly about racing. This version is no different from its predecessors. The gameplay will remain largely the same. The races in the narrated game run at a fairly fast pace. However, the game is not slow, but on the contrary is very smooth up to 60 FPS. The game combines many different types of transport, the number in this version is expanded to 30. Popular classes are hunter, alien, dinosaur, robot, zombie, etc. In fact, 4 out of 30 cars are kept from the old version. Each of these means has its own advantages and disadvantages.
If you don’t like the arrangement, you can customize your racing car to your liking. Regarding the track, there are quite a few terrains that have been selected by the developer. This includes hills, tunnels, detours, pipes or even spirals. By using the club button with the trigger, players can create spectacular drifts without sacrificing momentum.
The player screen will show two counters. While one will be used to display physical stats, the other will be used to display enhanced status stats. Whenever the stat is full, the player can speed up his vehicle. The order of the top of the race will also be displayed through the avatars on the left side of the screen.
The game offers 5 tournament modes, more obviously Practice, Grand Prix Race, Time Attack, Mortal Battle and Death Race. It seems that these modes are already relatively familiar to many people. Grand Prix is usually about the remaining 29 characters, Time Attack focuses on reaching the record in the shortest time possible, VS Batlle is a multiplayer mode in which friends will have to compete, while Death Match will is a battle for survival with other runners. If you want to practice your technique before starting the real race, then practice will be suitable as it is a free training mode.
