GoldenEye 007 is Rare’s classic FPS game for the Nintendo 64. It was created based on the movie GoldenEye where the main character is James Bond aka Spy 007. Therefore, the plot that the game is aiming for is quite similar to the story in the movie. There are even scenes that are recreated to bring the most realistic feeling for those who love this genre.
The game is designed and set in a three-dimensional space. Through the first-person perspective, players will have the feeling of transforming into a James Bond character in action scenes. The builder has paid special attention to game effects,
which players will need to reload as you shoot scenes that you’ve seen in the movies, each with flickering lights and splattered shells; or the light rays from the bullets passing through the character, the bullet holes in the wall, everything has been brought into full effect. And it’s all proof that they’ve taken care of every detail.
GoldenEye is the name of a satellite weapon of a destructive nature. In this story, just like in the movie, James Bond will have to destroy this satellite before a criminal organization uses it to attack the city of London.
