In the past, Ryuji Otogi’s father lost in the Ghost Tournament. In sequence, he wants him to avenge Yugi Mutou as well as his grandchildren. The game retains the same turn-based tactical gameplay as previous versions in the same series. The battle is held on a 13 x 19 grid, in which two players stand on either side of the field armed with dice.
