Description of Pokemon Spork RPGXP

You and your big sister, Emily, are on vacation in the Ceolis region. Even though you both already have Pokémon, they’re just pets to you so far and so neither you nor Emily have ever fought before. Along with exploring the area, you and Emily decide to join the Ceolis League and test each other’s skills along the way.

Sometimes you will come across an organization called Team Portal. Team Portal has a leader, three administrators, and an army of agents. The administrators are Barker, Felicia, and Quinn. Barker’s field is business and physical labor. Felicia is a magician. Quinn handles water related tasks. The identity of the leader as well as the goal of Team Portal is for you to discover on your own while playing the game, so I won’t mention them here. I will mention that Team Portal is not an “evil” team, as the concept of evil does not exist in the Spork universe. Even their leader disapproves of their actions, but they don’t think they have any other way to achieve their goals.

During your adventure, you will encounter a creature known as the Starfish that is neither a human nor a Pokémon. They were the first inhabitants of Ceolis and had their own society. They have qualified coaches among them, including one of the Ceolis League’s four Elites.

The story is lighter than most fangames as well as canon games. Death does not exist here. Not only does this mean that no character will die, it also means that death is not something that happens to humans or Pokemon.

You can sing and join an idol group in the postgame
Battle Frontier. There are five facilities in total. The Battle Tower and Battle Factory are among them, and the other three are new.

Sidequest areas are similar to Rejuvenation’s help centers and Desolation’s rangers’ guilds. There is five total. Each has its own theme. There’s the Ranger HQ, Police Station, Pokemon Research Institute, Help Section in the Sea Star Society, and a fifth which contains major postgame spoilers.
Can turn to debug mode on and off by speaking to a tree in Pokemon Centers

An NPC who can teach any type of Hidden Power to a Pokemon (available at an area between the 7th and 8th gym)
