Description of Pokemon Puzzle League Nintendo 64 ROM
Pokémon Puzzle League is a game created based on the Puzzle League series by Intelligent Systems. However, this version is a bit different with the special participation of Pokémon. The game is developed by Nintendo Software Technology and published by Nintendo. As the name suggests, the game belongs to the Puzzle genre.
The story begins on Ash Ketchum’s vacation, with Pikachu by his side. It was a call from Professor Oak. He informs Ash that he is one of the lucky ones selected to be the challenger in the prestigious Season:
official League tournament. Upon hearing the news, Ash rushes to the village where the event is about to be held, Pokémon Puzzle League Village, with its yellow mascot, Pikachu.
The mission throughout the game is to defeat eight different enemies from the eight Kanto regions. The first opponent that the player must defeat immediately after joining this adventure is Gary. The opponents will then be Tracey, Team Rocket, Giovanni and others.
However, after defeating each opponent, the player will receive the corresponding badges. If the character defeats them all, he will go on to face the infamous quartet, the Elite Four. However, Ash will realize that the Elite Four are not a formidable opponent when he encounters the Puzzle Champion, who will be the strongest. None other than the familiar, Gary, whom Ash Ketchum challenged early on. If Ash can beat this guy, then he gets a trophy. He will then be transported to another dimension where Mewtwo is. And you won’t really win until the final boss, Mewtwo, is defeated.
In addition to the main character Ash Ketchum mentioned above, players can choose other characters. The number of games is quite diverse when it comes to sixteen in all. However, in Stage 1P mode, the player can initially only choose the character Ash. Later, as you complete levels of varying difficulty, more Pokemon and players can be unlocked at your will.
Throughout the game, the player’s main goal is to arrange them so that rows can have at least three of the same blocks. After each move, the blocks will continuously increase. Get rid of these blocks quickly if you do not want them to rise to the top, which means you will lose.
