The Demon Blade is set in the Edo period in Japan. Initially, the game will offer you two styles, Muso and Shura. Each style is a setting with two different scenarios. The game only offers a single player mode. You can control either character provided. These two characters have similar gameplay but different shapes. Muramasa:
The Demon Blade also uses a side-scrolling system like other RPGs. As such, enemies can appear in front of or behind you. While moving, you can collect blue energy points to improve your health. The main character uses the sword to throw enemies above and cut. Cut more enemies, combine faster, and give more damage boost. In addition, there are other combat support items such as smoke bombs that will also be supported, which you can buy from the store. After each battle, your experience points will increase as your health improves and the amount of damage you can deal. There are two main weapons in the game: Blade, a katana, and Long Blade, a Nodachi. Each type is equipped with three additional blades with different combat effects.
