Description of Double Dragon Advance Rom
DOUBLE DRAGON ADVANCE is set in New York when crime is rampant. The lives of the residents here have been thrown off balance by the activities of a gang called Shadow. Twins Billy and Jimmy Lee run a gym to teach people Kung Fu, so they can protect themselves when in danger. But Shadow took that into consideration and kidnapped Jimmy’s girlfriend. They then send a message asking him to hand over the secret martial arts book Sou-Setsu-Ken and leave the gym in exchange for Marian’s freedom.
Jimmy thinks the town will be in more danger if the gang gets these powerful secrets, but he also doesn’t want his girlfriend to get hurt. So, the two brothers teamed up and planned to destroy the leaders of the shadow warriors to end the dark times that New York was going through.
For those who have experienced the beat-em-up game genre, it will certainly feel familiar in the gameplay of “DOUBLE DRAGON ADVANCE”. It only includes basic commands to attack enemies with punches or kicks. This game focuses on combat scenes, so there will also be more complex techniques, possibly using the knees for more powerful attacks, carrying enemies on your shoulders and throwing them like an object, or even Run on momentum to overcome rough terrain.
