Description of Pokemon Steelheart NDS ROM
Pokemon Steelheart is a Pokemon Black 2 Rom Hack that tells the story of Ole 10 years after the Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness event. The project aims to create a new experience suitable for the sequel to the Orre game and to explore and experiment with how the region has changed during this period.
This is one of the first new region hacks of the 5th generation, so we will adjust the pace to get the most out of new tools and our own plans for hacking. This is my [Cannons]’s first ROM hack, but it’s not my first game project, so I’m bringing much of what I know into development.
We plan to release games in chapters, provide a stable update, and make it transparent for anyone who wants to see the development process. This loses the secrets and fidelity of many publicly available hacking projects, but opening the door to show how we work is primarily for ROM hacking and game development.
It is useful for those who are trying to hang.
In terms of difficulty and tone, this game wants to provide players with enough challenges (somewhere between the Gen 5 game and the Drayano hack) while maintaining a chaotic atmosphere. The game aims to capture the more mature undertones of the Orre title, while staying true to the carefree nature of the entire series.
